Letters sent and received by Sgt. James L. Box (U.S. Army) stationed in Europe during World War II.
Photos largely document social events at Forbes Air Force base near Topeka, Kansas, circa 1954. Included are musicians, wrestling matches, and beauty competitions, as well as some images of military equipment and aerial reconnaissance photos. Also included are three sepia images taken in Alaska in 1958.
The Thomas Charles Brady family papers consist primarily of correspondence from Thomas Brady to his wife, Jane A. Barnett Brady, during his service with the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
