Scope and Contents

Papers document the history of the Methodist Church in Texas as well as the Addison family and Addison’s career. Included are correspondence, reminiscences, diaries, financial papers, legal papers, minutes, resolutions, broadsides, notes, newspaper clippings, pictorial items, certificates and literary productions consisting of poetry and a manuscript biography of Texas pioneer Methodist preacher Joseph P. Sneed, as well as two typescript copies.
